reflection

My purpose in my remediation project was to present the ideas in my research paper using a different medium. I think I did a good job of this. I carried over my main points very well. And the power point made it easier to use visual aid for the viewer. My target audience did not change when I changed medium because my topic is specific to my field, education. Since my audience did not change at all, I simply used the same rhetorical situation, design, and language.

The research paper took much more time to write because it was long and content heavy. But the power point did not take nearly as long to physically make since the slides were not required to have many words on them. But the audio portion of the PowerPoint was the difficult part, trying to figure out how to present the information in a timely manner. It took me a decent amount of time and YouTube searching to find out how to voice over a presentation. And it also took several tries to get the equipment working, and to get the entire presentation right. Overall I though the second assignment was easier because I know how to make a PowerPoint and because the information I needed was already presented through my research paper, so I didn’t have to look up much; which was the difficult and time consuming part of the last paper.
